Dr. Joseph S. Haven has lived and practiced on Hilton Head for nearly twenty years. Dr. Haven is married and has four adult children. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA and his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life College of Chiropractic Atlanta, GA.

Dr. Haven is trained and proficient in many chiropractic adjusting techniques including full spine, toggle recoil, activator and Thompson Drop to mention a few. He treats and adjusts all extremities (shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, feet, and jaw/TMJ) as well. Dr. Haven is Board Certified in Therapeutic Modalities, holds a Fellowship in Clinical Acupuncture from the International Academy of Clinical Acupuncture (F.I.A.C.A), and has extensive post grad training in the use of nutritional therapies.

Dr. Kara is trained and proficient in many chiropractic adjusting techniques including full spine, flexion/distraction, activator and Thompson Drop to mention a few. She treats and adjusts all extremities (shoulder, elbow, hand, hip, knee, feet, and jaw/TMJ) as well. Dr. Kara is Board Certified in Therapeutic Modalities and has an undergraduate degree in Exercise/Sports Science. Dr. Kara enjoys working with patients of all ages including athletes, golfers, tennis players and pickleball players as well as children and expecting moms! She is a proud pet mom and aunt. In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, reading, and traveling.
