DR. AMY BORDERS

Chiropractor

Dr. Amy's first introduction to chiropractic came at the age of 16, following a car accident.  She found that, together with physical therapy, chiropractic kept her in optimal condition for volleyball, track and soccer.  When she turned 18 she started working at a chiropractic office where she saw many cases of how spinal care would help free people from pain, recover from injuries without drugs, while preventing unnecessary surgeries. It was these experiences that inspired her to pursue her career in chiropractic.

Dr. Amy completed her undergraduate work at the University of Windsor where she attained a Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics. She received her doctorate in Chiropractic from The National University of Health Sciences in December 2004. While in school, Dr. Amy was an active member of student council, a soccer coach, and teaching assistant in the departments of Anatomy and Chiropractic Technique. Dr. Amy has completed 100 hours of post graduate work in Acupuncture and has attended several seminars in sports specific injuries and rehabilitation.

Dr. Amy is married, has two children and a dog named Jack.  When she finds some free time, she likes to coach her kids soccer teams, read and exercise.
