Itamar Simhon has joined Proactive Chiropractic and Physical Therapy as our new Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner.
Itamar is an Israeli native but has been in the Maryland area for the past 13 years. He graduated from Simmons University in Boston, MA in 2017 with a Masters of Science in Nursing. In 2018, he attained his Ultrasound Guided Intervention Pain Management Procedures certification and Joint/Extremity/Non-Spinal Injection certification from Empire Medical Training. In 2019, he completed his Orthopedic Nurse training certification from the Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board (ONCB).
He specializes in orthopedic treatments such as: Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy, Trigger Point Injections (TPI), Prolotherapy, Regenerative treatments for Osteoarthritis, IV Nutritional Therapy, and Medical Cannabis Recertification.
