Cabbage...AGAIN??? Spotlight on RED

Red cabbage differs from green cabbage in color, of course, but it also has a special flavor as well as substantial amounts of Vitamins A, C, and K. Here is an easy but scrumptious recipe for you to try:

Prepare 4 cups of shredded red cabbage.

In a small saucepan, heat 1/3C organic chicken broth to a slow simmer. Add cabbage, cover pan, and steam for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Add 3T EVOO, 1T lemon juice, 1 clove pressed garlic, and a dash of freshly grated ginger, sesame seeds, Bragg Liquid Aminos, and a splash of white wine vinegar. Finish off by sprinkling with Himalayan Crystal Salt and freshly grated pepper to taste. Toss well.

This is a fast, simple recipe and another great way to get this wholesome cruciferous vegetable into your diet!
