Dr. Wood was born in Littleton, Colorado were he lived until he was 15 years old at which time he moved to Washington state. Dr. Wood is a graduate of Auburn High School were he participated in track and cross country and was a 3 year Varsity runner. He did his undergraduate studies at Western Washington University in Bellingham. During a visit home for the summer his grandmother took him to see her Chiropractor and that is when he chose to become a Chiropractor. Dr. John A. Wood is a 1990 graduate of Western States Chiropractic College where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduation he began practicing in Auburn and later moved to Kent.
Dr. Wood has helped patients that range from one day old to individuals in their nineties. Dr. Wood knows that every patient that enters our office is unique, that is why he takes the time to prepare individual treatment plans for every patient. Dr. Wood was drawn to Chiropractic because he has a genuine desire to help people. Dr. Wood likes to educate his patients on understanding how to take care of their bodies to improve their quality of life. Dr. Wood has earned the Chiropractic Sentinel award and has been featured on KCPQ-TV, KOMO-TV, and PAX-TV.
Dr. Wood has been married to Vicki for 28 years and is the proud father of two boys, one here on earth, and one in heaven.
