Dr. Cano completed his undergraduate work at Rutgers State University in Newark, New Jersey where he received a Bachelor Degree in Biology with a Minor in Psychology. He then went on to attend the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut where he completed his Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine degree. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Acupuncture.
Dr. Cano’s four years of training included naturopathic philosophy, prevention and treatment of illnesses though natural remedies that include homeopathy, nutrition, botanical medicine, Chinese formulations, and mind-body medicine. Dr. Cano has completed more than 1300 hours of clinical shifts hours in the following areas: general medicine, integrative oncology, physical medicine, pediatrics, HIV/AIDS, classical homeopathy, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
