Meet the Chiropractor

Dr. Peter Kantzilieris DCDr. Peter Kantzilieris DC

A recent graduate from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic with an undergraduate degree from Rutgers University majoring in Exercise Science and Sport Medicine.

Dr. Peter Kantzilieris was born and raised in North Bergen NJ. During his childhood he also lived in Greece for about 5 years. He attended North Bergen High School and at the time also volunteered his weekends at Palisades Medical Center. It was this experience that helped Dr. Kantzilieris develop his desire to provide care to patients with a focus on preventative methods and patient education. He then went on to attend Rutgers University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine.

Upon graduation from high school Dr. Kantzilieris also worked all through undergrad and grad school at Eye to Eye Vision Center located in the Garden State Plaza in Paramus NJ. He spent the next 11 years while in school serving the public of Paramus with their eye care needs.

Dr. Kantzilieris then went on to graduate from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic in 2013. As part of his fourth year clinical training he interned at New Haven Medical in New Haven, CT. He was also the treasurer for the Student American Chiropractic Association where he was able to meet many professionals in the field through different school events that he helped plan. He also got the opportunity to help the Chiropractic profession by lobbying in Washington DC along with other students for better laws and better quality healthcare for our Veterans.

Dr. Kantzilieris is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors, and the World Federation of Chiropractic. He is certified in Activator Technique, Active Release Therapy (ART), and Fascial Movement Taping (FMT or Rocktape). Dr. Peter Kantzilieris DCDr. Kantzilieris is also very involved with different volunteer organizations. He enjoys spending his time when he is not working on different projects through Habitat for Humanity and the Paramus Rotary. During his spare time he enjoys jogging and hiking with his dog, Sasha, and working on home projects. He is also currently working towards his Masters in Human Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport.
