Dr. Paulk was born and raised in College Park, GA. His undergraduate studies were done at Southern Polytechnic State University located in Marietta, GA where he majored in Construction Management with a focus in Land Development. In 2012 after a long career in the construction industry, he decided to pursue his life-long passion in healthcare and began working towards his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at Life University.

Dr. Paulk has always participated in competitive athletics and it has caused him to be very mindful of health and wellness. His first introduction to the chiropractic field was in 2002 due to a shoulder injury and suffering from severe back spasms. After multiple visits he not only had complete relief from his symptoms but also noticed he just felt better. Trying to figure out the connection between the adjustments and why he felt better he was hooked and intrigued by the profession.

During his time at Life University Dr. Paulk was a member of the Sports Chiropractic Council, studying various analyses of athletes and the connection between the nervous system and athletic performance. His education has included extensive classes in human anatomy, biochemistry, pathology, nutrition, physiology, biomechanics, neurology and numerous adjustment techniques. Dr. Paulk also did extensive research in Biomechanics of the spine and loads applied to the spine throughout all phases of the golf swing.

In his free time when Dr. Paulk is not spending time with the love of his life Melissa or playing with their two children Izabella and Ethan, you can find him on the golf course or on the lake fishing. Melissa also likes to take advantage of Dr. Paulk’s construction knowledge and has him continuously adding projects to his 'honey-do' list.
