"I hurt my back moving wood at my cabin over a weekend. I saw Dr Nuesse that following Monday, and he gave me an examination, treatment and exercises. Within a 2 weeks, I felt better then I did before I injured my back. Dr Nuesse did a great job and I would recommend him to anyone."

"Fed up with my chronic lower back pain, neck/shoulder tightness, and tired of being dependent on pricey spa massages I decided to give Chicago Joint and Spine clinic a try. After less than a month of treatment with Dr. Nuesse (adjustments and very simple back-strengthening exercises) I am thrilled with the results - drastic decrease in my pain, greater flexibility, and a better range-of-motion. The treatment has exceeded all my expectations. Dr. Nuesse is very patient and thoroughly explains his diagnosis and method of treatment. "I have been very impressed by the care I have received from Dr. Neusse. I came in with severe knots in my upper back and joint pain in my knees. Through adjustments, at-home stretches, and the work of Dr. Neusse's fabulous massage therapist, I no longer experience pain and tightness on a daily basis! Dr. Neusse takes the time to answer all of my questions and makes it easy for me to fit appointments into my busy schedule. I really like the calm environment of his office and his patient-centered approach to care. It's also a plus that he answers his own phone and offers prompt email confirmations when making appointments online."

"Thorough, caring, professional -- he knows his stuff. In describing his adjusting technique, I would say he's 'an artist' -- he doesn't adjust it until he finds the exact spot, and then it's painless and swift. No yanking your neck around trying to find it. He does everything he can but he doesn't do more than is necessary. He's there to heal, not bring in the bucks by prolonging your situation. I've been going regularly for almost 3 years, now, for a chronic ailment, and I've never felt better. If you like deep tissue work, he's your guy -- gets in there, gets it out, and it's great. I can't imagine another chirorpractor any better than Dr. Matt. Not far from the El."

"I recently experienced an injury to my lower back when working out. I found this practice and have been so impressed by the treatment I receive. Dr. Nuesse really took the time to assess the root cause of the injury. He also provided me a guide on exercises to perform to help the problem. Although I still have some treatment to go, I am already feeling 100% better. I definitely recommend this practice! Last note: The massage therapist is great too! I am definitely a big fan!"

"I was very nervous about seeing a chiropractor and wondered how one could help. When I met Dr Nuesse all of my fears faded away. He was (and still is) very patient with me. He listens to everything and lets me ask a ton of questions; ranging from completely absurd to the super logical--"if you stop doing that the pain will go away!" kind. He has helped me pinpoint problems, made them go away, and helped me become much more aware of my body and how it works. Also Dr Nuesse gives great feedback about self care and what I can be doing to help myself. His office is easy to get to at the Board of Trade building and he has always made time to see me when I need him."

"I must admit I was skeptical at first. A friend told me about the office so I tried it out. I have beein having headaches for years which i thought I would just have to live with. After the first week I already started feeling better. By the end of my time at the clinic I hardly had headaches. I was given some easy exercises that realy help keep my headaches at bay. I have reccomended this place to two of my co-workers!!!"

Then I was told the only solution to my problem was to buy $30 vitamins which I would have to take3xs a day for 2 months in order to decrease the inflamation in my wrist and hand. Feeling no better, I called in an emergeny at Chicago Spine and Joint Care and was seen within hour, despite it being the end of the day on a Friday. I particularly appreciate the candid talk -- Dr. Matt Neusse isn't afraid to be realistic and gave me simple easily managable solutions, like ice and ibprofen. Of course, my inflamation was virtually gone the next morning. "I came here after spending a week suffering with a dislocated rib. Having had similar things before, I knew that the best I'd get from my primary care would be a concerned look & maybe a recommendation to wrap it. On the suggestion of a friend, I gave chiropractics a try - the pain was significantly less the next day and gone the day after that. The procedure was simple and everyone was incredibly informative and pleasant. Couldn't possibly have had a more positive experience."

"Before I went here I had a headache for over a month, after my first adjustment with Dr. Matt it went away. Now I have Dr. Josh and every time I come in he is my hero, he knows what I need and he asks the right question. Everyone right down to Allison the receptionist is friendly, if I need to change my appointment time they always find a way to accommodate me. I feel great when I leave there every time, I can't recommend them enough."

"Dr. Rowell has done a fantastic job of eliminating my constant neck and back pain from sitting at a desk all day. Their office is conveniently located in the loop and they are great at working with your schedule and you never have to wait when you get there. "I have suffered from chronic sinus problems for several years and tried numerous OTC medications to no avail. I see Dr. Rowell for lower back pain and saw that he also performs accupuncture. I decided to try accupuncure for my sinus discomfort and I have had amazing results. I do not like needles but accupuncture needles were painles and relief surpassed all expectations! This is the perfect solution for my sinus problems due to allergies and the relief lasts far longer than any medication. Dr. Rowell explained where the needles would be placed and made sure I did not experience any discomfort. He was patient and informative and I did not have to wait or feel pressured to make return visits. I will definitely do this again."

"Got a complimentary acupuncture yesterday and was totally relaxed during my experience. I was very tired and so I got a very brief nap while I was getting the acupuncture. Dr. Rowell really took care of me, he brought me a chair over so I could relax my arm, and he explained the procedure thoroughly to me. Although I felt no obvious relief of stress from the acupuncture, I think it helped me out subconsciously."

"Great place to go for chiropractic therapy! Dr. Rowell seems to know what he's doing and makes sure to do all the necessary adjustments during each appointment. Dynah, the massage therapist, is FANTASTIC. I've been going to her almost every week since February. I have chronic neck, back, and shoulder pains from studying and working at a desk all day, and weekly work takes care of the issues, no problem!"

"I took my 14 year- old daughter here for treatment of neck, lower back and knee pain. Memories of a painful and ineffective adjustment made her a bit nervous about the visit, but a 30 minute massage with Kara left her relaxed and purring like a kitten! Dr. Rowell took time to explain what he was going to do and was very gentle and thorough. He gave her an illustrated booklet of exercises to do and answered all of our questions. Although much of her discomfort was alleviated after that first visit and the exercises continue to help, we will definitely be back!"

"One stop shop... get your spine adjusted, remove stress with acupuncture and release the tension on your body with the best massage therapist in town. I have been a customer for over a year and I could say my back and knees have improved significantly since I began my treatments. The staff is so accommodating with your busy life style. They take their time to make sure you come out feeling good. Dr. Rowell is a certified Chiropractor and Acupuncturist. Kate, the massage therapist works miracles with her treatment. "Hands down the BEST place to go for chiropractor and massage! Great place and good price. I've been going here once a week for years now. Everyday life can be super stressful for a lot of people. However, I always feel welcome when I walk in the door and Dr. Josh and his staff always know how to instantly make me feel relaxed. Dr Josh has a great personality. I've seen him make all different kinds of people instantly comfortable. Probably the least intimidating chiropractor I've come across. "I have been going to Chicago spine and joint care for several years. Josh took over the practice a while ago and is fantastic. I started coming for chronic neck and shoulder pain and between the adjustments and therapeutic massages I've been pain free for several years. They also helped me with some bad plantar fasciitis issues and hip flexor pain. Very flexible with appointment times. This is a great practice."
