Dr. Cristina Abadia was born in Bogota, Colombia and was raised in Los Angeles, California. She moved to Lincoln Nebraska in December of 2009 to pursue her Communication and Psychology degrees at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Dr. Abadia graduated with clinic honors from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California in 2016. During her time in Chiropractic school, she attended countless seminars in her free time and participated in mission trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic, where she delivered chiropractic care to hundreds of people in need.
Dr. Abadia has specialties in pediatrics and pregnancy, and is in the process of completing her certification in pediatric proficiency, through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA). She is also certified in the Webster Technique, a chiropractic analysis and technique used in pregnancy to help optimize the mother's pelvic function, and aid her growing baby.
She believes that the human body has an innate ability to heal itself, given the right environment. Her mission is to empower her patients by educating them on the importance of having an optimal functioning nerve system. She is passionate about delivering gentle and specific chiropractic adjustments to patients, ranging from newborns to the elderly.
