Dr. John Toth, grew up right here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He attended Life Chiropractic College-West in the San Francisco Bay Area of California in 1987. Dr. Audrey, a California girl, was one of Dr. John's classmates. What began as a good friendship in the first semester became a lifetime commitment by graduation. Dr. John and Dr. Audrey Toth graduated together in June of 1990 and were married shortly thereafter. After surveying many neighbourhoods in Winnipeg, they decided to hang their shingle in the budding suburb of River Park South in South St. Vital. Their practice continues to serve the community as it has since 1990.
In 2002, Dr. John and Dr. Audrey were blessed with the arrival of a son, and they spend all of their spare time nurturing, teaching and playing with him. During his little years, they enjoyed an active lifestyle of golfing, gardening, constructing hobby projects, and chasing their son about. More recently, they have enjoyed cheering from near and afar throughout his hockey career in Manitoba and, now, with in Calgary. Dr. John and Dr. Audrey believe that patience, consistency and perseverance can bring about the successful realization of any goal.
When asked why they became Doctors of Chiropractic, there is no hesitation in Dr. John's response. He was the unfortunate victim of a car accident in 1986 and sought the care of his local chiropractor. He was amazed at the relief he received and the speed at which he was able to return to his daily activities. The rest is history. Dr. Audrey's experience was less personal, but no less profound. Her father was due to have surgery on his wrist. The surgery was averted with the help of a chiropractor who changed the course of fate with a single adjustment.
Dr. John and Dr. Audrey believe that the body has the potential to heal itself. As Doctors of Chiropractic, they feel that they are in partnership with each and every patient. They provide ethical chiropractic care that places the needs of their patients first, through expert treatments that are tailored to meet the specific requirements of each individual.
The staff members rounding out our team are very friendly, helpful and competent. If they weren't, they would not be on our team.
