How does the brain communicate with the limbs? A chiropractor explains

Everyone knows our brain sends signals back and forth from the muscles to make sure they contract and relax. Something has to tell us what to do and how to do it right? This is great but the brain has to interpret so many other things too!  

Our brain controls everything:

  • Where we are in space
  • What sensory events are happening around us 
  • What hormones need to be released 
  • Adaptability

    We are not even conscious of the many wonderful things our brain does very quickly and easily.  

    According to MIT neuroscientists, the brain can identify images seen for as little as 13 milliseconds.  It is fast, efficient and always on the job. Our limbs move and communicate with our brain so fast we can not tell when this signal is being transmitted back and forth.  In order for our body to stay healthy and accident free, the brain needs to be able to know what our limbs want to do and find a way to do it.
