Arthritis can be debilitating. Whether it is Osteoarthritis that is caused by stress and wear or Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) which is an inflammatory condition.
Vitamin D has been shown to help improve symptoms and keep the condition from becoming worse.
The Journal of Natural Science, Biology and Medicine discovered in 2018 that vitamin D plays a large role in Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Vitamin D is not really a vitamin but is really a hormone that helps regulate our immune system. Since most inflammatory conditions are affected by the immune system, having this hormone in normal levels is key for feeling better and being comfortable.
Adults should try and get 600 IU of vitamin D daily. Especially if you are not getting enough sunlight.
So how can we get more Vitamin D?
