Dr. Amanda Haeg

An Interest in Human Performance

Dr. Haeg was born and raised in New Prague, MN.  After high school graduation, she moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a volleyball scholarship and completed her undergraduate education in athletic training.  She put her sports medicine skills to use after graduation as a member of the athletic training staff at her alma mater, Duquesne University.  Being a lifelong athlete herself, Dr. Haeg’s career goal was to help others stay active through injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance enhancement.  Throughout her time at Duquesne, she enjoyed working with athletes on the volleyball, soccer, lacrosse and track & field teams

While living in Pittsburgh, she was a member of the Pittsburgh Passion, a women’s full-contact football team, for seven seasons.  It was then she experienced her own injury that would change her life’s path.

From Sidelined to Active Again

Unable to walk, let alone run due to a hip injury, Dr. Haeg found herself sidelined for the first time in her athletic career.  She first tried physical therapy and visiting one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Pittsburgh.  After 6 months of therapy, she found herself in the office of a chiropractor who was able to identify the root cause of her chronic injury.

Within two weeks and six adjustments, she could jog without any pain.  ‘’It was unbelievable to me that after 6 months of being unable to take a full normal stride, I could move again!”  It made Dr. Haeg realize that the underlying cause must be located before any health problem can be addressed and stabilized.

"I am passionate about finding the root cause of health issues to help people heal from the inside-out.”

After the incredible healing chiropractic brought her, Dr. Haeg made the decision to attend Life University in order to share the benefits of chiropractic with others.  While there, she was a member of and secretary for the Pierce Results System club.  After graduating magna cum laude, Dr. Haeg moved back home to Minnesota to share the Pierce Results chiropractic approach with the Twin Cities by opening Cadence Chiropractic.
