WHAT TO EXPECT
Your First Visit
In order for us to better understand your health history, please complete the required paperwork and bring it with you for your appointment.
At your first visit with us we want to get to know you. We will start by showing you around our office so introduce you to each of the steps we will take together throughout your first visit. Afterwards, Dr. Amanda will sit with you to listen and discuss your health history, answer any questions that you may have, and explain what a subluxation is and how it impacts the function of your body. This initial consultation typically takes 15 minutes.
If after the initial consultation you’re interested in continuing to learn more about the health of your spine, we will begin the examination process. The full initial visit typically takes 45 - 60 minutes. You can expect the following advanced chiropractic tools to help us diagnose what’s causing your health concern.
- Full spine infrared thermography exam
- Structural and Motion X-rays, if necessary
Your Second Visit: Report of Findings
At a second Report of Findings visit, Dr. Amanda will review your examination findings and provide recommendations for the best chiropractic care to meet your needs. She will be sure to answer any questions you have, including:
- How can you help me?
- How often do I need to come in?
- What will my treatment cost?
The initial phase of care is called Active Care, where the focus is on generating healing momentum to improve the function of your nervous system, as well as the structure and function of your spine. Read more about Active Care here.

Regardless of your health goals, we understand life gets busy and you have a lot going on. It’s our job to suggest care that we think is appropriate for you to help you achieve the best health you can. It is up to you to decide which approach you’d like to take from there.
Future Visits
When you return for regular visits, we will be respectful of your time and see you as promptly as possible. Thanks to our advanced technologies, our adjustment times are usually less than 10 minutes.
