Morris
Dr. Brandon Morris earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2014. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Francis Marion University in 2007. It was during his time at FMU that he was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, a neurological condition involving inflammation of cranial nerve VII resulting in facial paralysis. After suffering for several months and having several failed attempts with different treatment options through multiple medical professionals, he sought chiropractic care as a last resort. After his first chiropractic adjustment, he had total recovery of Bell’s Palsy within just 2 days after treatment. This sparked a passion in Dr. Morris to learn and understand the nervous system to the best of his ability so that he could change others’ lives as his was. This shifted his career goals from pharmacy to chiropractic. His philosophy is that with optimal nervous system function, along with healthy lifestyle choices (diet, exercise, sleep, etc), the body’s innate intelligence will allow the body to heal itself. As a chiropractor, he has helped thousands of individuals throughout multiple communities in South Carolina during his career. For the last 5 years, he has practiced in Florence and has been awarded runner up for best chiropractor 2 years running in “Best of the Pee Dee”.
Dr. Morris excels in a variety of different chiropractic techniques such as Gonstead, Pierce, Diversified, CST, Thompson, Webster, and Activator. Dr. Morris is licensed in Physiotherapy and is certified in Integrative Dry Needling. He is also very experienced in adjusting infants and children and is in the process of becoming ICPA certified. Dr. Morris is passionate about the treatment of babies and children with tethered oral tissues (tongue, lip, and buccal ties) as his own children needed specialized treatment for TOTs. He is partner in ownership of North Myrtle Beach Chiropractic Spine Pain Center.
God has blessed Dr. Morris with an amazing, supportive family. His wife, Melinda, a holistic occupational therapist, specializes in optimizing nervous system functioning for children and mothers through a variety of integrative and complementary approaches including coaching, craniosacral therapy, and yoga. They have two young children, Indy & Sawyer. As a family, they love outdoor activities, camping, kayaking, hiking, and traveling.
