MLS CLASS 4 LASER THERAPY WITH THE M6 LASER

Q: What is laser therapy?
A: Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to treat painful and debilitating muscle, bone, and joint conditions.
Click on the "video" tab for more details.

Q: How does it work?
A: Light energy enters the damaged cells and stimulates inter-cellular activity. This reduces pain in the area of injury and speeds recovery of the damaged cells.

Q: What can I expect during a treatment?
A: Laser Therapy is a painless treatment that usually lasts several minutes. Patients may experience a comfortable sensation at the point of application.

Q: What can I expect after the treatment?
A: Most patients see positive results in within just a few treatments. The swelling at the site of injury and pain is usually greatly reduced and there is a rapid relief of pain. Chronic conditions can be controlled with regular treatments. Although no therapy works without fail for all patients, the M6 laser exhibits a high rate of satisfaction on the patients that we have applied it too.

Q: What is High Power MLS Laser Therapy?
A: MLS Laser Therapy is a medical procedure that uses highly focused laser light energy to treat pain and inflammation. It works at the cellular level by stimulating the body’s natural healing processes. It works equally as well whether the injury is recent or it has been a long term problem.

Q: Is it safe?
A: Since its FDA clearance, millions of patient treatments have been performed and there has never been a reported side effect. Laser therapy can be found in every medical discipline including prestigious medical schools. It is frequently used to treat professional athletes in the NFL, NBA and MLB.

Q: Is the treatment painful?
A: No, actually it is quite comfortable and soothing. Many patients feel pain relief within a few minutes of the treatment session.

Q: Why should I choose MLS Laser Therapy over other devices?
A: The MLS system uses a patented dual wave treatment that effectively treats both pain and inflammation simultaneously. The treatment is administered using a robotic laser array that ensures the right amount of energy is equally applied to the treatment area.

Q: Who is the doctor?
A: Dr. Eliesha Evans is a Chiropractic Physician who has practiced in the New Berlin community for over 20 years. She has consistently expanded her practice to include both tried and true traditional approaches and the latest technology in treating a wide array of painful conditions.

Q: How many therapeutic laser sessions does it typically take?
A: It depends on the nature of the ailment.  Injuries such as tennis or golfer’s elbow can be cured in as few as 10 treatments.  More chronic conditions require between 20 and 30 sessions to achieve a maximum therapeutic benefit from the MLS Laser Therapy treatments.

Q: Why doesn’t my doctor know about it?
A: The High Power MLS Laser is a relatively new and upcoming treatment approach. Many physicians who do not deal with neuromusculoskeletal pain on a daily basis have not yet heard about this revolutionary safe treatment modality. Unfortunately for patients in today’s insurance based medical world, doctors only offer patients treatment for those procedures they can get reimbursed by the insurance companies.

Q: Will I need to continue treatments indefinitely?
A: No, our goal is to try to identify the source of your problem and correct it — especially if it is a biomechanical issue. We use MLS to accelerate the healing process and heal the condition. MLS brings about pain relief by healing the inflamed and injured tissue. Results have proven to be long term, if not permanent, for the majority of conditions we treat. On occasion, there are conditions that require periodic maintenance treatments. Since the MLS has no side effects, the laser can be administered throughout a patient’s lifetime.

Q: Is MLS Therapy approved by the FDA?
A: Yes, the FDA has approved the use of MLS therapy and it is also patented via the US Patent Office.

Q: What is the advantage of MLS therapy over traditional low level lasers? (LLLT)
A: MLS Therapy is able to induce strong anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, and analgesic effects simultaneously and within a short period of time.  LLLT cannot achieve these results because of the limitations of using one or two wavelengths that are not synchronized. The patented control system that generates the MLS pulse synchronizes the emissions to achieve results previously unattainable.  Thanks to this characteristic synchronization, the various therapeutic effects not only take place at the same time but reciprocally reinforce each other.

Q: What does MLS stand for?
A: MLS Stands for Multi-wave Lock System. MLS is the name of the technology used that utilizes the patented combination of wavelengths.  The 2 wavelengths work together, much like a symphony to deliver superior results.
