Nothing could be easier!  Our warm, friendly staff will make the experience in the office fast, easy, and beneficial.  Your first visit will include an evaluation of your specific needs and goals, and a thorough medical history.  Some questions may seem unusual, but since the nerves from the spine branch out all over the body, they are pertinent questions for your exam.   This initial exam establishes the source of your pain or deficiency, and provides Dr. Dornbier with the information needed to determine recommendations for your care.  

Diagnostic x-rays may be ordered to help identify precise problems.  Some patients may be asked to change into a gown, if a certain area of injury or surgical scarring, needs to be visualized.  However, in most instances this is not necessary.  

The doctor, after studying your history, and comparing it to your examination findings and tests, will create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.  If additional testing is required, such as an MRI or CT scan, Dr. Dornbier will discuss this with you.

Treatment may or may not commence on this first visit, depending on the severity of your condition, and any complications.

Dr. Dornbier will listen carefully to your concerns, so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. A thorough visit, may take up to 60-75 minutes to complete, so please plan your time for this visit appropriately.
