MIGRAINES AND ASTHMA:
On December 24, 2005 I woke up with such an excruciating headache but being busy because of Christmas, I just continued on getting things done. The pain lasted the whole week; it was so bad that I could not care for my children. I went to my family doctor thinking that my migraine medication was not doing its job anymore and since she was away I was given an anti-inflammatory along with Tylenol #3. This medication did absolutely nothing. I then started looking in the yellow pages for a chiropractor close to my home. I called a few and explained how badly I felt and they told me to call back after the holidays. I came upon Dr. Moore's; this was on December 30, 2005. I called and was greeted by Christine. I explained my situation to her and she advised me that the office was now closed and would open after the holidays, but to leave my number and she would call me right back. Within 5 minutes, she had called me back and asked me to come in at 8:00 the following morning, Saturday, December 31, 2005. I was shocked that Dr. Moore would see me that quickly and believe me I was very pleased. When I woke up that morning I was still in excruciating pain, it took every ounce of my being to get to that appointment. Dr. Moore did a thorough examination and did an adjustment on the NUCCA table, I did not think that this would do much but within 10 minutes of being adjusted I could feel the pressure leave my head. I no longer felt nauseated and I was no longer in such pain. Dr. Moore came to the office on New Years Eve just for me, how wonderful.
Since seeing Dr. Moore, I have not had to take my migraine medication, nor have I felt that pain again. I have found that I sleep better and I am able to concentrate better. Both of my children suffer with migraines and my oldest son (14) suffers with asthma and took 3 medications daily, but since he has been seeing Dr. Moore a few times a month, he no longer needs his medication, nor has he had any migraines. My youngest son (7) no longer complains of migraines and he also has been sleeping better.
For myself and my family I would not be without Dr. Moore and chiropractic care. I have noticed a tremendous change in my life and my children's lives. It was very stressful for me when my children suffered with migraines, let alone when I had one. It is nice not to have to worry about it anymore. No matter what my physician and my children's pediatrician says, we will continue to seek Dr. Moore's treatment to keep us healthy.
One more thing that I feel is extremely important is that, I have been to a few chiropractors and I have never felt like a person, I felt more like a number. With Dr. Moore and his staff we feel like we are people and we are treated as such. We are always greeted by our first names, we are asked about our day and our families. Dr. Moore and his staff have gone above and beyond for me and my children and we are forever grateful.
If you know of someone that has problems, refer them to Dr. Moore and I am absolutely positive that he will make a difference in their lives.
