Three years ago, I fell on some ice and fractured 2 vertebrae. Ever since then I have had pain in my upper and lower back. I was generally not feeling well- always sick with the flu and colds, and had many headaches and migraines.
I first went to Physio, but could not do with the exercises because of the pain. Depression started to set it. I was taking about 10 different pills a day for one thing or another. When I met Dr. Moore, I was skeptical about seeing a chiropractor, after all, this is the spine, I was very nervous. Dr. Moore explained everything to me. He told me what he was doing every step of the way. X-Rays showed that my spine was not straight.
I am more aware of how I hold myself and correct it. I can sit for longer periods without my back support. I can walk for longer times, my health is much more improved. I now only take one pill a day. My migraine frequency is greatly reduced.
I love to quilt, sew, knit, and do crafts, but I had a difficult time pursuing these activities. Now I am doing all of these things. My family life is much better because I am not in constant pain any more. I was skeptical at first, but I tryed it anyway. I have not regretted my decision. If you are in chronic pain as I was, give chiropractic care a try- It's worth it!
