Most other spine centers do not offer the types of diagnostic tools we do. When you are in pain, you don't want to drive all around town to get diagnosed and treated. When you first contact us for your initial evaluation, we will determine if you have an easily identifiable issue, or if you need more in-depth diagnostic examination. We offer CAT scans, x-rays, and MRIs right here in our offices. This means you don't have to go anywhere else, and you don't have to wait days, and possibly weeks, before another imaging center can get you in.

It also allows you to avoid the wait between another imaging center scanning you, them sending the scans to our doctors, and our doctors reading and evaluating the scans. With all the diagnostic equipment being located right here, you can get diagnosed and treated much faster than you would by going anywhere else. This can only benefit you, which is our goal as your medical service providers.

We will let you know if you need to do any special preparation before your scan. Some patients need to fast, for example, while others don't. If you need contrast, we will make sure you're not allergic to shellfish first, as contrast contains iodine. If we have to do it without contrast because of an allergy, we will choose the diagnostic tool that will give us the best images, so we can prescribe the proper treatment. If you need an MRI and are claustrophobic, we will guide you through the process to make it as easy as possible on you, even to the point of prescribing a sedative, or recommending an over the counter one, if that's what you need. The goal is to get you diagnosed in the easiest and most effective way for you, so you can get on the road to relief and recovery as soon as possible.
