Chiropractic Care for Pregnancy, Infants, and Children

asdf

Our goal at Central Park West Wellness is to care for and support your entire family from the very young to young at heart. Chiropractic care is vital to establishing and maintaining a healthy nerve system to keep us functioning optimally through every phase of life.

Proper alignment during pregnancy is vital to having normal physiological function of both the mother and baby through pregnancy and birth.

Imbalances in the pelvis and spine may contribute to difficult labor and baby malposition. Specific correction of the pelvis through the "Webster technique" may have a positive effect on all causes of discomfort and dysfunction. Dr. Roseberry is certified in this technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

The birth process can actually be one of our very first exposures to injury of the spine, in some cases causing misalignments and nerve interference. This type nerve interference, if left uncorrected, can lead to less than optimal functioning and future health and developmental issues. Adjusting a child’s spine with gentle chiropractic care can lessen, and often remove these areas of nerve pressure and allow for optimal growth and development. Dr. Roseberry has completed over 200 hours of additional training in caring for infants, children and pregnant women.

The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association initiated a ground breaking study revealing the safety and effectiveness of chiropractic care for children. The results verify its safety, and parents reported three unexpected improvements in their children while under care. They noted improved sleeping, improved behavior and attitude, and improved immune system function.

The ICPA has more information and research available regarding the benefit of chiropractic care for children at www.icpa4kids.org.
