Regenerative Medicine

WHAT IS REGENERATIVE MEDICINE?

Our bodies are very powerful and are built with building blocks to heal itself. Over time as our body ages, that ability starts to diminish and the regeneration process slows down dramatically.

So what if there was a way to boost your regeneration process and build it back up? Wouldn’t you want that for yourself? We think so! No one wants constant pain and/or unnecessary surgery.

Below are a few natural therapies we are featuring for pain relief and rebuilding of joints instead of the alternatives of taking ibuprofen, steroid shots and/or surgery!

There much more available and we will be adding more therapies soon. So stay tuned in!

PRP (PLATELET-RICH PLASMA)

Platelets are small, non-nucleated bodies in blood, primarily known for clotting.

PRP injections can be indicated for: tendonitis/tendinopathy, muscle tear/injury, rotator cuff injury, bursitis, and virtually any joint that has pain. PRP activates tenocytes to proliferate quickly and produce collagen to repair ligaments, tendons cartilage and joints!

ALLOGRAFT INJECTIONS

Allograft injections don’t just mask your symptoms. They heal the underlying cause of your problem. They get to the root of it, regenerate it, and bring NEW LIFE to it!

COMBINING PRP AND ALLOGRAFT – WHY?

Combining these two therapies will allow the patient the best outcome to regenerating and rebuilding the joint.  Our goal is for the patient to have a better quality of life and NOT revert back to the inflammation stage! Causing a healing cascade is what we are moving toward with these types of injections. Combining the two treatments make it possible for a more complete healing and restoration process!

EXOSOMES

Exosomes are the mechanism behind the regenerative power of stem cells and have numerous advantages over other types of regenerative medicine. They are much smaller in size, can cross the blood brain barrier, and are chemical signalers and messengers. Another plus is that exosomes are able to be recognized immediately by the body and do not elicit an immune response of an "invader" as other therapies do. Since they (exosomes) are not cells, they are also less expensive and easier to store. There are several options for administering exosomes into the body. For further reading, The Role of Exosomes in Regenerative Medicine is explained by Douglas Spiel, MD.
