I have been a patient of Dr. Goshorn's for many years due to a back injury and have consistently been helped by his treatments. Both my pain level and mobility benefit from his care:) But this year he did me a very special service by helping me with a broken nose! My internist was away and while at a regular appointment with Dr. Chuck he noticed my nose injury was worse than I thought. He recognized it as broken immediately and determined it was out of alignment and not yet stabilized. Thanks to his referral to a surgeon I was able to be seen quickly and have the surgery needed to repair my nose. It has healed well, and I am very grateful to Dr. Chuck for his expertise and the great level of personal care he provides. He is a wonderful healer who truly treats the whole person! -

I am writing to commend the work of the doctors at Goshorn Chiropractic and Wellness. I was a patient of Dr. Chuck's for many years due to a history of scoliosis and repetitive stress injuries. Most note-worthy is the many times he treated me on the off-hours - holidays and weekends, when the pain from thoracic subluxation was unbearable for me. I am so grateful that this pain was instantly alleviated by an adjustment and that I was not made to wait for an appointment during regular office hours. This special attention is a testimony to his dedication to my well-being and his profession.
This year, I began treatment for scar tissue with Dr Andrew, as Dr Chuck does not do this type of modality. For decades, the range of motion in my left shoulder was greatly decreased which prevented me from playing golf with my husband and doing many other vigorous activities which I really do enjoy. This treatment has been so successful! I no longer feel like my neck is caught in a vise grip around it and it takes no effort for me to stand up straight back on my heels for the first time in years. I look forward to my yard clean-up at this time of year, no longer worried that raking, bagging, and bending within reason are going to cause acute pain again.

I had never been to a Chiropractic office, but my doctor said it was time to see one. I debated because I did not want to go but the pain was so bad I had no choice. I called Goshorn Chiropractic and received an appointment within days. I met Dr. Goshorn and he ordered X-rays, and my treatment began. I was very surprised at what the X-rays showed, and quite concerned about how I was ever going to walk again without pain again. Dr. Goshorn explained how he was going to treat me and also gave me the courage to go forward, the doctor could see how worried I was. After about 3 visits I was able to walk with less pain and within 3 weeks I was pain free. Then the unthinkable happened and I fell on black ice. Need I say more? My regular visit was 2 days away, I went to the appointment explained what happened and Dr. Goshorn started working on that issue also. I am almost back to being pain free and have Dr. Goshorn to thank for putting me back together again. All I can say is thank you, thank you!

I want to let the Goshorn’s know how thankful I am for them. I have had an Achilles tendonitis in both my ankles for 3 years. I have gone through two rounds of physical therapy and twelve cortisone shots. I was told that I needed to have surgery to fix my ankles and it would require 6 months of recovery for each ankle. A doctor even suggested that I change professions. I am a very energetic person and cannot sit still for long. The thought of being down that long would drive me crazy.
A friend of mine suggested that I see Dr. Goshorn. The first time I met with him he was 99% sure he could help me. I ordered orthotics for my shoes and continued doing the exercises Dr. Goshorn suggested. My ankles became less painful and the swelling started going down. Dr. Goshorn is also treating me for migraines. I have not had one since he has been treating me.
I learned about a program Barb Goshorn offers. The program is called Shape ReClaimed. It helps increase your metabolism and reduces inflammation. While on the Shape program I have lost 20 pounds. The swelling in my Achilles is completely gone. Barb continually monitors my urine to make sure I am handling all the fat I am burning. I feel better knowing that someone is making sure my health is maintained.
The other day I told my husband that I was very thankful for the Goshorn’s. It is the first time in 3 years that I am totally pain free in my ankles. Because of the Goshorn’s, I can continue being active. The Goshorn’s are amazing people and I feel honored to be treated by them.

I came to Dr. Goshorn after damaging my hamstring in a race in May. I tried rest, P.T., and even sports massage. I had never been to a chiropractor and Dr. Goshorn was recommended to me by a friend. I was at a point where I needed relief from the chronic pain and also was very discouraged with my lack of progress. After my first appointment I felt definite improvement and was very encouraged that I was making progress. I continued over several weeks and can thankfully say that I am almost 100% improved. The staff is very knowledgeable and professional in the areas of treatment and overall healthy living and well being. I would definitely recommend them!!

In 2005, my senior year of high school, I was diagnosed with a herniated disk in my lower back. I had steroid shots, did physical therapy for a year, and although the pain would go away, it was always temporary. For the next four years my back and leg hurt daily. It was always sore when I woke up, hurt after sitting or standing for long periods of time, and really limited the activities I could do. I started going to Dr. Goshorn in January 2010, and now, just over three months later, I can say that I am virtually pain free. I can sit for hours or stand up at concerts, I can walk and run with my dog, and I don't have to worry about how sore my back will be the next day. I still cannot believe the change my body has gone through since January and am so happy to recommend Dr. Goshorn to anyone considering seeing a chiropractor. He is professional, friendly, and caring, and shows interest in the progress of his patients. Thank you for your healing hands! I have been diagnosed with a degenerative cervical vertebral disc which had been pressing on a nerve and the muscles in my left shoulder and upper left arm were tight causing a constant , debilitating pain and discomfort for many weeks. Consequently, I was fatigued and unable to exercise and effectively do chores in my busy, physical daily routines. I had limited range of motion in my neck and left arm and experienced a creaking, low vibrating grinding sensation at the base of my skull. But now, I am completely pain free and the flexibility in my vertebra and neck has greatly improved. I feel energized again.
Dr. Chuck is astute diagnostician, knowledgeable, professional, thorough, personable and caring.

With Goshorn Chiropractic you get more than just an office visit, you get a complete program. You start with adjustments in the office but the rest of the program is your "homework": stretches and exercises. As long as you stick to the program, success is assured.

A couple of years ago my doctor suggested I see a chiropractor for a nagging pain in my side that couldn't be diagnosed (for 3 years). I had a cat scan and blood work to no avail. The pain had gotten so bad I couldn't even walk from my car into Wegman's without stopping to catch my breath. I was at my wits end when I made an appointment with Dr. Chuck! The first session he did a scan and could instantly tell that something was going on. It was such a relief that someone could validate my pain!! Within a couple of visits my pain and breathing returned to normal!! What a relief! I kept going to Dr. Chuck for various other problems I had chalked up to getting older. He made me see that I didn't have to put up with the aches and pains. I am hooked! Earlier this year I did the natural allergy elimination also. It was a godsend! I have resolved a lot of my outdoor allergies and learned a lot about my body. It is amazing how tuned to my body I am now. Goshorn Chiropractic is a total wellness clinic. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for the wonderful experience I had working with you and your staff to drop almost 15% of my weight and reach my goals ahead of schedule. I have been working out for years and have never really been able to lose weight or at least enough to make a difference. By coming to you and learning about good, the reactions our body has to it and then modifying my behavior based on your suggestions are diet I was able to achieve in 8 weeks what I haven’t been able to do in years. The other important point is I travel 3 days a week for my job and I used to use that excuse, but with your program that excuse is gone and I lost several inches in my hips and belly (requiring several new clothes – great problem to have) and a bunch of weight. The best part about it I learned so much in the program that I am confident I will not put the weight back on and I really didn’t have to do anything crazy like starving myself or cleanses or any other fad. I would say to anyone who has trouble losing weight or wants to lose it in a controlled and sensible way they absolutely need to work with you.
My results were amazing and I know it because I have had plenty of people tell me, and most importantly I feel it both physically and mentally. I also have the blood work and new low blood pressure to prove it!!!

I had a trampoline injury that had been released using chiropractic care by Dr. Goshorn. This began to cause a lot of pain and swelling as my body readjusted to normal. Allison not only alleviated the pain but moved the swelling out of the inflamed areas which ultimately
disappeared. In addition, I had some intestinal trouble and stress from the extended pain. Allison eliminated both using "ear seeds." Allison's work is definitely amazing!

I cannot believe how my pain has been reduced. In less than 2 months I was able to perform activities WITHOUT pain that I have not been able to do for over 8 years.
