My medical training began as a Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy where I became an Emergency Medical Technician and a Medical Laboratory Technician.

My family members developed health issues that western medicine could not treat. That is when I began searching for effective alternative treatment. Chinese Medicine worked so well that I knew I had to learn more to help others heal naturally without unpleasant side effects.

After graduating from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Oregon Trail Chiropractic welcomed me into their family.

When I am not in clinic I find myself enjoying family activities with my husband and three children. I rebuild my energy by gardening, hiking, and reading.
