Dr. DeMann DC MA FNP RMSK is a healthcare specialist with a diverse background. While he began his career in Alternative Medicine, he now specializes in Non-Surgical Orthopedics with a focus on the treatment of musculoskeletal pain and injury. He has the distinction of being dual Board Certified both in Orthopedics (ONP-C) and in Pain Management (ANCC RN-BC). Dr. DeMann is an expert in musculoskeletal ultrasound (RMSK) and a pioneer in regenerative treatments such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Bone Marrow Aspirant Injections.
Dr. DeMann is a graduate of Harvard Medical School's elite Global Clinical Scholar Research Training Program (GCSRT). His past and present clinical affiliations are as diverse as his educational background. They include past Post Graduate Professor of Neurophysiology at Touro College and Member Board of Advisors Oxford Health Plans.
He is a member of numerous professional and academic associations participating in international research training for physicians and clinicians. Experienced as both an accomplished lecturer and author, he received the distinction of being named for outstanding achievement in the “Who’s Who of American Professionals”. His publications have appeared in both lay magazines as well as professional journals including the prestigious international medical publication “Pain Management”. Dr. DeMann has appeared on both television and radio with his own syndicated weekly health talk show “Doctor on Call” and is listed as one of Fox Network’s “health authorities” having appeared on the nightly news several times.
Dr. DeMann enjoys a successful orthopedic focused practice, having worked with members of professional teams such as the New York Rangers, the New York Knicks, the Indiana Pacers, the New York Mets, and the New York Giants. He has worked with professional dancers from the New York City Ballet, Martha Graham Dance Company and the American Ballet Theater. Additionally, he has been named doctor to several "on" and "off" Broadway shows and been featured in several times in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and on ABC, CBS, and FOX News.
Note: Dr. DeMann DC MA FNP RMSK accepts some commercial insurance plans out of network as a NON-PARTICIPATING provider so you may be subject to a deductible. He does not accept Medicare. Because there are so many insurance plans out there, and because coverage for care varies widely for the types of services that we offer, please call us to find out if your plan covers care in our office. Before you start a care plan, our staff would be happy to verify your benefits and explain them to you at no charge. Patients are entitled to a statement of fees which will be provided to you by our office upon request. If your doctor does not participate with your specific insurance plan and you are responsible for payment, our office will include a courtesy claim form for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement as per their payment guidelines.
