Arm and shoulder pain may be related, but can also be independent of each other.  Pain in the upper arm, forearm, wrist or shoulder can be the result of injury, muscle strains, or overuse.

What Conditions Can Result?

  • Dislocated Shoulder
  • Shoulder Bursae
  • Frozen Shoulder

  • Strains & Sprains
  • Tendinitis

Can A Chiropractor Treatment Help With Arm Pain And Shoulder Pain?

Chiropractic therapies have a proven track record of providing relief for arm and shoulder pain.  Patients often find relief by visiting a Chiropractor and being treated with massage therapy, spinal adjustments, spinal decompression, Class IV laser therapy, or trigger point injections.

Will I Need Surgery?

Depending on the severity of your condition, surgery may be necessary.  The first step, however, is to get an evaluation.  Dr. Brad Richardson at Summit Medical Care Center in Broomfield can do a thorough examination and recommend the best course of treatment.

Do Home Remedies For Arm and Shoulder Pain Work?

We found ice pack can help reduce inflammation and provide some relief from the pain.  Applying ice packs for up to 30 minutes at a time helps numb the affected area.  Some patients find that heat works better.  In other cases, a combination of heat for 20 minutes, followed by half an hour of rest, then applying ice can yield results.
