Our kinesiologists can design a rehabilitative program to help you recover from your injuries.

What is a kinesiologist?

Kinesiology is a discipline focused on the study and practice of human movement and exercise, and its impact on health and physical performance. Kinesiologists are highly educated health care professionals who are experts in body movement. Their goal is to use active rehabilitation to help you with health promotion and chronic disease prevention.

Initial Appointment:
Initial visits with our kinesiologists are 1 hour in length. Within these sessions, your kinesiologist will review your health history and perform a thorough assessment. Assessments include range of motion, strength testing, and further specialized tests which are relevant to your health concerns. Your kinesiologist will then generate a tailored program consisting of exercises and stretches that are aimed to reduce pain and increase mobility!

Subsequent Appointments:
Subsequent visits with our kinesiologists are approximately 30 minutes (length may differ based on practitioner recommendation). Frequency of visits can range from multiple times a week to bi-weekly.

Subsequent visits may include the following:

  • Exercise assessment and progression
  • Stretching
  • Cardio
  • Soft tissue release
  • Taping
  • Reassessment
