Dr. Michael Wise is the newest addition to the Foothills Integrated Health team. Dr. Wise joins Foothills after having his own chiropractic practice for 20+ years, and serving patients in the west Denver area. He comes to us with a unique skill set and offers wonderful new treatments for Foothills patients.
Dr. Wise has been the team doctor for Mullen High School for 12 years. During practices and games, he works the sideline for football, basketball, volleyball and soccer. He evaluates athletic injuries and provides treatment and rehabilitation so they can return to play in the healthiest physical state. Additionally, he performs concussion evaluation and treatment, which has become critical as we learn more about dementia and migraines related to brain injuries.
He specializes in sports injury rehabilitation, whether you are a golfer, marathon runner, bicyclist, tri athlete or a weekend warrior. He treats knees, shoulders, wrists, hips, ankles, feet and spinal injuries for pain and inflammation.
During rehabilitation, he helps patients improve strength, flexibility and joint stability. He also treats sprains/strains of muscles, tendons, ligaments, in addition to tendonitis, bursitis, and arthritis.
Dr. Wise provides high quality pre and post-surgical rehabilitation for ACL, meniscus, rotator cuff, knee and hip replacement surgeries.
