Jeffery Blustein, Dipl. Ac., L.Ac., was trained in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the oldest Chinese Medicine School in Colorado. He also certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), which includes certification in Clean Needle Technique. In addition, he completed a 3-year internship with Dr. Wenying Lin of the Gynecological Department of Beijing Hospital in China. His backround includes studies at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he majored in Statistics.
Jeffrey's training also includes adjunctive therapies such as moxibustion, acupressure, tuina, cupping, auriculotherapy, electrical stimulation, and dietary and lifestyle recommendations. He treats a wide range of disorders with an emphasis on chronic and acute musculo-skeletal pain and injuries including sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis elbow, back pain, and sports injuries. Jeff is also well trained in internal medicine diseases, such as gynecological problems, PMS, menopause, stress, hypertension, insomnia, irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, and many other imbalances.
Jeffrey is committed to providing his patients with the highest standard of care based on an attitude of gentleness, warmth, professionalism, and respect. By creating a treatment plan that addresses each individual's needs and includes various modalities of Oriental Medicine, Jeff strives to treat not only the symptom, but also the root of the illness, and thus restore the balance upon which holistic health is based.
