Patient Forms
Upon entering our office, our front desk staff will greet you and welcome you as a member to our clinic. If you have not already filled out and submitted your new patient forms, we will request that you do so before seeing the doctor.
Consultation
Next you will have a consultation with one of the doctors to discuss your health-related problems and concerns, as well as potential treatment options. Your first visit is designed for the doctors to learn more about you, your condition and expectations, and to determine whether chiropractic care meets your needs.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Ben Sabo will perform a complete chiropractic examination testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Digital Imaging
Your specific condition may require x-rays to get a full evaluation. X-rays help us rule out more serious conditions and assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their x-rays and often can identify their misalignments and degeneration.
Adjustment
The doctors will determine the appropriate time for your first adjustment after the initial examination. They will do whatever possible to alleviate your pain if you're in an acute phase
Follow Up
Prior to leaving, patients will be instructed on any necessary at-home therapies. If you are in pain when you first come into the office, this may include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and/or stretches.
Your next appointment will be scheduled, which will include a complete report of findings.
