Erchonia Low Level Laser
At Back In Line Chiropractic Center we are proud to have the Erchonia Low Level Laser which emits a visible coherent light that is applied to the affected area. It is used for increased healing prior to liposuction, pain management and increase healing time for burn victims. 
The reason we use a low level laser as opposed to a high powered laser, is high level lasers has been shown to damage the affected area down to the cellular level. Low level lasers work by having bundles of light energy pass through the skin which are received within the cells of your body by specific energy photo (light) acceptors. The light is communicating to the cells. The increase in the cellular energy results in altered cell membrane permeability and changes occur through an enzyme cascade to affect several biological processes. Within the injured tissue, Low Level Laser light increases circulation and enhances tissue regeneration. The overall effects are: decreased pain and inflammation, increased range of motion and a quicker healing time.
