Benefits of Nasal Cranial Release

Benefits of Nasal Cranial Release

Nasal cranial release is a chiropractic procedure that helps to correct ill effects of trauma and subluxations in the bones of the skull. By re-establishing normal alignment of the skull bones, nasal cranial release can restore the normal flow of cerebral spinal fluid to the brain and spinal column, and restore health and functioning. Ask Dr. Anderson if nasal cranial release is right for you.

Here's What You Can Expect from Nasal Cranial Release

In order to perform the nasal cranial release procedure, Dr. Anderson will insert five to 10 balloons in to the nasal passages of the face. With the help of a blood pressure bulb, Dr. Anderson gradually inflates the balloons so that they gently expand the nasal passages. The inflation is performed progressively over several sessions, so as not to cause any pain or discomfort to the patient.

You will feel pressure inside the nose and head during nasal cranial release, but you should not feel any discomfort -- let Dr. Anderson know if the procedure causes you pain. As the balloons expand inside the nasal passages, they place pressure on the bones of the skull, restoring those bones to their proper alignment. You may feel or hear popping sounds or sensations inside the bones of the skull as the balloons are inflated. After the procedure, you should experience better posture, relief from chronic pain, improved breathing, and even relief from depression symptoms. If you have asthma, you should have your inhaler close at hand during the procedure.
