Do You Have Acid Reflux

acid reflux

Acid reflux is a condition I address on a regular basis. We have pretty good success on mild to moderate cases. If you have indigestion that comes back up your throat or chest discomfort in the middle of your chest acid reflux may be the problem. There is a very easy though briefly uncomfortable adjustment that unsticks the diaphragm from the stomach and esophagus. Acid reflux is not because you have too much acid. It is because the acid in your stomach spatters up into the esophagus. The acid should be stopped by what is called the cardiac valve at the high end of the stomach just below the diaphragm. If this area is tensed and the valve gets stuck open then the condition for reflux exists. The adjustment I do unsticks this area and the patient often feels instant relief. Sometimes this adjustment needs to be done a few times but what a relief. If you have reflux perhaps there is a simple solution for you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mike Spearman
