Pursuit Of The Future

grj

I just could not bring my self to talk about physical health. the word "health" basically means whole so whatever I write about has something to do with the whole. I want to introduce you to a couple of books I am reading now, and perhaps this will stimulate your interest.

The first book is titled Rule by Secrecy by Jim Marrs. This book has been around for years but I never read it. A similar book, written about 1970 that I did read is called None Dare Call it Conspiracy by Gary Allen. There are other books about the subject and Marrs mentions various writers or quotes them in his book. I would say this book assists you to understand world and national affairs and why they often do not make sense to you or why you feel that you are not really represented in the political world. Marrs goes into detail on many events of the past few hundred years so you can make more sense of how the western world we live in is run. I would say that it is a story built on historical facts that show the acts of the ruthless in running the world. So consider this book in your reading.

Another interesting book is titled Life After Google. This book is by George Gilder, author of 17 books over the past 40 years. Gilder predicted the invention of the cell phone of today, in practically every detail of its capabilities, in one of his books 20 years ago. Gilder is saying, in Life After Google, that Google has failed to adequately address Internet security and was never designed to do so. Their efforts, as Internet security has become a problem, are only patchwork efforts. A whole new Internet structure is on its way right now and if you are into investing there could be some golden opportunities. If you had invested in Google or Microsoft or AT&T when these were fledgling companies it would have helped your bottom line. Life After Google was sold out at Barnes and Noble so I ordered it. Jim Marrs book, Rule By Secrecy, was the last on the shelf at the same bookstore.

Here's to good reading and a better perspective on the world as it is and knowledge can lead to a better world in the future.

Sincerely,

Dr. Mike Spearman
