Chiropractic Services For Veterans

A couple years ago the Veteran's Administration got some very bad press for very poor service rendered to veterans. One of the solutions developed was to provide community service outlets as simply getting to a VA hospital could be problematic. My office was okayed a couple years ago to do chiropractic services for veterans with back problems. We have 2 or 3 people currently and have seen dozens of people over the past two years. 

The veteran, to come to an office like mine, has to see an MD at the VA and request to see a chiropractor. He/she can then be referred to a doctor in the system. Usually the veteran gets approved for 12 visits and several of these patients have gotten re-approvals for further visits. It is wonderful that chiropractic was included into the US military especially considering the physical nature of being a soldier. 

I can assure you including chiropractic was fought against by vested interests who cared not for the serviceman's health but when chiropractic was tested on veterans it was found to be popular and valuable. Now the chiropractic service has been outsourced to offices like mine and most patients love coming here. 

We get a lot of pleasure from being able to serve the veterans.
