Breakfast Cereal
½ Cup raw soaked nuts (soak overnight, I usually use almonds and walnuts but you can use any raw nut you like)
1 Apple cored (I leave the peeling on)
Dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
½ Tsp vanilla extract
1 Packet of Stevia (Stevia is the only low calorie sweetener that we recommend; you can get it at Publix)
Place all the ingredients in a food processor with the S blade and grind until it is finely chopped. Pour almond milk over and enjoy. (almond milk can be purchased at Publix and is much healthier than milk or soy milk) If you need it sweeter, you can add real maple syrup or agave nectar. (agave can also be purchased from Publix) You can double this recipe to keep for a few days. It usually keeps in the refrigerator about 3 days.
If you have other wonderful fruit that you would like to put on your cereal please feel free to add them! The Georgia peaches are wonderful on this especially with the maple syrup! Have fun using different fruits to change up the flavor and keep breakfast interesting. I only grind up the apple, all other fruits I just add or slice up on top.
