In North Carolina, to become a chiropractor you need a bachelor’s degree to start. Usually a bachelor of science in either human biology or zoology, or the like. It’s the base. Next it is on to advanced degrees, the training for which is very similar to medical school. In fact, medical doctors and chiropractors go through the same courses and course of treatment for the first six years or so.

The education of a chiropractor doesn’t end with chiropractic school, however, once you’ve received your license you’re required in every state to have continuing education credit, and most chiropractors who really want to be the best that they can be, continue their education. Learning what the new things are that are out there allows us to offer the latest in treatments available to the widest variety of patients.
