OUR CHIROPRACTORS AT CHIROPRACTIC PARTNERS

PROVIDE PAIN RELIEF FOR BACK & NECK PAIN, HEADACHES, SCIATICA, INJURIES AND MORE!

As the weather gets colder, the desire to exercise can easily dwindle. This especially applies to those who love to run or play outdoor sports. Exercising as the weather gets cooler can become more difficult physically as well.

- Dress warmly! Make sure you wear layers. Don’t forget a hat, gloves, and thicker socks. Wear clothing made of lightweight, synthetic materials that will wick the moisture away from your body. Cotton absorbs sweat and can cause your body to stay colder longer.

- Stay hydrated! It is always important to drink plenty of fluids while exercising. Dehydration symptoms can be amplified by the cold weather.

- Have a plan! Use the buddy system and have a friend exercise with you. However, be sure to tell someone where you will be if you are running or doing a form of exercise alone. While this is always important, it is even more so when the weather is colder. Hypothermia can set in very quickly and if someone notices you have not returned home, help will come sooner.

- Change your routine! The best way to work out while it is colder outside is to workout inside! Find a class to go to or join your local gym.
