One Saturday, I got a call from a representative of the country music group Alabama. I was actually was not on call that particular weekend, but I was available to help. A member of the band had injured his lower back and needed treatment.  So I drove to the office and pulled up  next to a long, black stretch limousine and out steps Teddy Gentry (original Alabama member who plays bass guitar)  and one of his staff.  Teddy wasn't standing quite that tall on this particular morning and by the look on his face, I could tell he was in a lot of pain!  I took him into my office, and after the normal intake and exam, treated him for his lower back condition. After that, Teddy got up from the table much taller and was able to freely move and function like normal.  He was very happy - so much so that he immediately offered me two front row seats for the Alabama show in town that evening. My wife and I attended, and Teddy asked us to come backstage to meet the rest of the Alabama musicians, and hang out with the Charlie Daniels band as well.  We accepted his generous offer and did just that. It was a great evening, and we felt like celebrities hanging out with Alabama and the Charlie Daniels band. For me personally, it was very gratifying to see Teddy Gentry stand up and play his bass guitar in front of all of his adoring fans! It was certainly a special, memorable Saturday for us to meet such famous musicians and to once again experience firsthand the power of chiropractic care!
