Do I Go Forever?
No you do not. However, many patients go to the chiropractor as long as they want to benefit from living a healthy lifestyle... we may call this a "wellness plan". Patients always choose the level of care they desire. There are three stages of care. The first being pain relief and acute care. This is followed by the second corrective stage where you spine must go through rehabilitation care to stabilize your spine and promote more complete healing. Stopping care during this phase may risk relapse. The last and final stage is Wellness Care. The stage prevents problems before they become serious with periodic check-ups. As you progress, your visits will be drawn out to maintenance visits such as once a month or longer. But remember, regular exercise and healthy living habits are a lifestyle decision and so is wellness chiropractic care.
