Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) is committed to providing a workplace and educational environment, as well as other benefits, programs, and activities that are free from sex discrimination, including sexual harassment, sexual assault, or retaliation. To ensure compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and regulations, and to affirm its commitment to promoting the goals of fairness and equity in all aspects of the educational enterprise, TCC has developed internal policies and procedures that will provide a prompt, fair, and impartial process for those involved in an allegation of discrimination or harassment on the basis of protected class status.  TCC values and upholds the equal dignity of all members of its community and strives to balance the rights of the parties in what is often a difficult time for all those involved.

What is Title IX

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX) is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on sex in educational programs or activities. The United States Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights is charged with enforcing Title IX.

REPORT AN INCIDENT

If you are a student faculty or staff member who believes you have been subjected to sexual misconduct which includes sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual violence, sexual assault, conduct that exploits another person in a sexual and non-consensual way, stalking, dating violence, domestic violence, and indecent exposure or retaliation, Texas Chiropractic College encourages the reporting to ensure that the College has an opportunity to address prohibited conduct. Reports may be made by completing a formal complaint form, anonymously (access code: TCC1908), or by contacting the Title IX coordinator.
