Thyroid Treatment

The thyroid is a small gland located in the front of your neck. It produces the hormones that regulate the speed of the chemical functions of the body. These thyroid hormones are required for any process that takes place in your body.

Dr. Jere Jarrett can help you resolve your functional thyroid problems using natural means.

Types of Thyroid Problems

When your thyroid is overactive, too much hormone is produced and body functions speed up. This is called hyperthyroidism. When your thyroid is underactive too little hormone is produced and body functions slow down. This is called hypothyroidism.

Another type of thyroid problem is where the immune system attacks its thyroid gland, an autoimmune condition. This results in Hashimoto’s Disease (hypothyroid) or Graves’ Disease (hyperthyroid).

The good news is whether your thyroid is overactive or underactive, Dr. Jere can help improve your condition without drugs or surgery.
