Children’s Chiropractic

Dr. Jere is great with children and has successfully treated children for decades.

Gentle, drug-free care for kids

These days more and more parents are seeking chiropractic care for their children. Chiropractors, however, have been treating children’s spines for over a century. Many common childhood conditions, both chronic and acute, respond to this natural, safe method of healthcare.

Just as a spinal misalignment in an adult can disrupt proper nerve flow and cause many disorders, so can the same condition occur in your child’s spine. And this disruption often leads to lowered resistance to illness and can cause poor posture and spinal malformation.

Caring for your child’s back

Keeping your child’s spine healthy has a positive effect on the entire body.

Jumping, twisting, turning, pulling and lifting. A child’s developing body can receive more stress in a single day than many adults get in an entire year.

Dr. Jere Jarrett has successfully treated children’s backs for decades. He uses several gentle low-force adjustment techniques and when it comes to treating your child he’ll use the ones that will be the most effective for your child’s situation.

Ear Infections and Chiropractic

Dr. Jere can find the source of your child’s earache and create an effective treatment plan.

Ear pain is the #1 reason for child visits to chiropractors. Ear infections also account for over 35% of all pediatrician visits in the United States. Antibiotics, the usual treatment, aren’t always effective and can even lead to an ear infection recurrence.

Many times, the source of a child’s earache is an allergy, and often it is a dairy allergy. Other times the source is a neck out of alignment caused by playtime or sports. Too much sugar can also cause earaches because it lowers a child’s immune system.

Dr. Jere can ascertain the exact source of the ear infection for a correct and effective treatment plan.
