Dr. F. Marina Russman, M.D.

Dr. Russman completed her extensive medical training at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience regarding acute pain management to the S.M.A.R.T. Institute. She is experienced in vascular, tumor, extracranial neurosurgery, and in the management of spinal cord trauma. Dr. Russman is able to access a variety of modalities to alleviate pain. Her solution-focused methods have led to the quick return of countless injured workers to work without the frustrating delays so often seen in the California Workers Compensation industry.

Dr. Jon Frank, MD, Orthopedic Surgeon

Dr. Jonathan Frank joins the S.M.A.R.T team as an orthopedic surgeon with a primary focus on minimally invasive, arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, hip & elbow. His background includes extensive expertise in cartilage restoration, multi-ligament knee injuries, joint preserving osteotomies, and treatment of complex shoulder issues including rotator cuff repair surgery and shoulder replacement surgery. He has and continues to treat many professional athletes including those in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and MLS.

Dr. Jones Hormozi, DPM

A Doctor of Podiatry Medicine, Dr. Hormozi is Board Certified along with being a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. His abilities in sports-related injuries are backed by his position as a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. Dr. Hormozi has an extensive background in treating sports injuries and has worked with athletes of all ages, including those ranging from high school to professional sports. His experience has allowed him to develop his surgical skills and his own techniques, providing patients with excellent surgical outcomes.
